Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia) claimed a thrilling lights-to-flag victory at the 2025 MotoGP Valencia Grand Prix, leading a dominant Aprilia 1-2 finish.
Bezzecchi, securing back-to-back wins, held off immense pressure from teammate Raul Fernandez (Trackhouse Aprilia), who finished second just 0.686 seconds behind.
The season finale began with drama. Pecco Bagnaia’s disastrous season ended on Lap 1 when he was taken out by Johann Zarco at Turn 5. Bagnaia finished fifth in the overall standings.
Fabio Di Giannantonio (VR46 Ducati) snatched the final podium spot, passing KTM’s Pedro Acosta late in the race.
Pre-race chaos saw Franco Morbidelli suffer a wrist fracture after colliding with a Honda wildcard on the grid, sidelining him from the upcoming test.
The victory marks Aprilia’s first 1-2 since 2023 and their first-ever consecutive wins.
