Lukomwa Rashid made the clearest statement of UBCL Week 15 with a dominant first-round knockout over Adriko Jimmy in the Elite 60kg division at the NCS Arena. Rashid set the tone from the opening seconds, pushing forward with tight combinations and sharp shot selection that immediately forced Jimmy onto the back foot.
The tempo never eased. Rashid controlled the distance, stepped into his attacks with confidence, and consistently found gaps in Jimmy’s guard. Midway through the round he unleashed a clean sequence that landed with full effect and brought the contest to an abrupt close.
The referee moved in to signal the end, confirming a first-round stoppage that underlined Rashid’s rise as one of the most reliable performers in this season’s UBCL calendar.
The undercard also delivered early finishes. In the Youth 60kg division, Ochan Raymond earned an RSC victory in Round 1 against Mutebi Isma after applying steady pressure and forcing repeated defensive lapses. Mugerwa Simon followed with a knockout win over Kasibante Ibra, completing a string of quick results on the night.
Attention now shifts to Week 16, scheduled for 29 November at the NCS Arena, where several divisional races continue to tighten as the season enters its final stretch.
