South Africa successfully defended the Rugby Africa Women’s 7s title for the fourth successive time, beating Kenya during the Cup Final in Nairobi this past Sunday.
The silver medal went to Uganda as the podium remained unchanged for the third year.

South Africa also won the continent’s sole ticket to the World Rugby HSBC SVNS Division III Series in 2026, joining Kenya who will compete in Division II.
For the individual awards, South Africa’s Nadine Roos was Player of The Final.
Uganda’s Lydia Namabiro scored seven tries and was joint-top try scorer of the tournament alongside Lushomo Liwena (Zambia) and Freshia Oduor (Kenya).
