NIC General Insurance has unveiled a record two million dollar sponsorship to support the She Cranes as they head to Scotland for the 2025 Celtic Netball Cup.
The investment, worth 7.28 billion shillings, was announced at the national team flag off on Friday and stands among the biggest financial commitments ever made to Ugandan netball.
The package will cover travel arrangements, team welfare, high performance training, insurance, and key logistics for players and technical staff.
NIC General said the support is aimed at giving the squad everything they need to compete at full strength when the tournament begins from 26 to 30 November at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow.
The Celtic Netball Cup is held annually in the United Kingdom and attracts leading teams from the region.
The event offers the She Cranes a strong platform to build on their recent rise and reinforce their growing international reputation.
