Equity Bank Uganda and NARO have launched the 5th Equity NARO Golf Open 2025, a three-day tournament running from November 27th–29th at the Mary Louise Simkins Memorial Golf Club, Namulonge.
The theme, “Swinging to 17 Years of Equity Bank Growth,” celebrates 17 years of the bank’s impact and partnerships in Uganda.
Claver Serumaga, Executive Director of Equity Bank, highlighted the milestone: “Seventeen years of growth, partnership, innovation, and shared prosperity.”
The bank will symbolically mark the 17th hole to commemorate this anniversary.
The tournament is a key platform for community engagement and sports development. It will feature top golfers, including recent Kinyara Open winner Meron Kyomugisha, in a major test of skill on the course known for fostering talent.
Lady Captain Sheila Aine praised the partnership, noting the event’s role in promoting the club and supporting women’s golf.
