This second edition of the summit is built around the theme Uniting to End Gender Based Violence, with athletes, administrators, activists, and policymakers using the forum to push for practical solutions that can strengthen protection for women and girls in sporting spaces.

Speakers from both local and international bodies outlined strategies aimed at building safer and more inclusive environments across Africa.

The program continues tomorrow with discussions, workshops, and networking sessions focused on equipping women in sport with the tools, support systems, and professional connections they need to drive institutional change.
