Ferran Torres scored a stunning first-half hat-trick as Barcelona defeated Real Betis 5-3 on Saturday, extending their lead at the top of the La Liga table to four points.
Playing at the Estadio La Cartuja, Barcelona fell behind early to an Antony goal (6′).
However, Torres quickly responded with goals in the 11th and 13th minutes to seize the lead. Roony Bardghji then netted his first La Liga goal in the 31st minute, before Torres completed his treble in the 40th minute, making it 4-1 at halftime.
Lamine Yamal extended the lead from the penalty spot in the 59th minute. Real Betis rallied late, with goals from Diego Llorente (85′) and a Cucho Hernández penalty (90′), but the late flurry was not enough to deny Barcelona the decisive 5-3 victory.
The 20-year-old Bardghji, who signed for the club in July 2025, was celebrated for his debut league strike in the high-scoring affair.
