Holders Barcelona stormed into the Spanish Super Cup final with a record-breaking 5-0 demolition of Athletic Club on Wednesday night.
Hansi Flick’s side made history at the Alinma Bank Stadium, becoming the first team to score four goals in the first half of a Super Cup semi-final.
The 16-minute blitz featured strikes from Ferran Torres (22′), Fermín López (30′), Roony Bardghji (34′), and Raphinha (38′).
Raphinha added a fifth shortly after the restart (52′) to seal Barcelona’s ninth consecutive win in all competitions.
The 15-time winners will face either Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid in Sunday’s final in Jeddah.
