Luka Doncic delivered another scoring masterclass, racking up 46 points and 12 assists to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a 129-118 win over the Chicago Bulls.
The 26-year-old guard made history at the United Center, becoming the fastest Laker ever to reach 2,000 points (achieved in just 65 games).
He also joined Kobe Bryant as the only players in franchise history to record at least 45 points, 10 assists, and five three-pointers in a single game.
Doncic, who leads the NBA with a 33.8 PPG average, received support from LeBron James (24 points) and Rui Hachimura (23 points). The victory snapped Chicago’s four-game unbeaten run.
Despite the dominant performance, Lakers coach JJ Redick noted that Doncic’s high-risk creativity still “tests your patience” at times, though he added: “More often than not you will get a great result.”
