Luka Doncic delivered a historic performance on Friday, recording a triple-double in just 20 first-half minutes to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a 142-111 demolition of the Washington Wizards.
The 26-year-old, who showed no ill effects from a fall in Cleveland the previous night, finished with 37 points and 13 assists.
The feat follows a milestone Tuesday where he became the fastest player to reach 2,000 points as a Laker.
Deandre Ayton dominated the boards with 28 points and 13 rebounds, while LeBron James contributed 20 points in the Lakers’ second-highest scoring game of the season.
The win snapped a two-game streak for the Wizards, who now head to Sacramento on Sunday. The Lakers next face the Knicks on Monday.
