Barcelona tightened their grip on the La Liga title race with a clinical 3-1 victory away at Elche on Saturday.
The win moves Hansi Flick’s side four points clear of Real Madrid, who face Rayo Vallecano tomorrow.
Lamine Yamal opened the scoring in the 6th minute, rounding the keeper after a slick ball from Dani Olmo.
Elche’s Álvaro Rodríguez leveled in the 29th minute, briefly threatening an upset against the league leaders.
Ferran Torres put Barça back in front just before half-time, blasting home a cross from Frenkie de Jong.
Manchester United loanee Marcus Rashford sealed the points in the 72nd minute with a tap-in, marking his 10th goal of the season.
Barcelona has now won 15 of their last 16 matches. With Rashford in fine form and an option to buy him for £30.3m this summer, the Catalan giants look increasingly formidable as the season enters its final stretch.
