Harry Kane has become the first Englishman to reach 500 professional goals, hitting the landmark with a clinical brace for Bayern Munich against Werder Bremen on Saturday.
The 32-year-old striker reached the milestone in 743 appearances—ten games faster than Cristiano Ronaldo, though 111 games slower than Lionel Messi.
Kane had already surpassed Jimmy Greaves’ long-standing English record of 474 goals back in December.
