Tottenham Hotspur is facing backlash from the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Trust (THST), which accuses the club of “selectively editing” minutes from a February meeting with board members.
The Trust claims the club omitted critical concerns regarding the risk of relegation and the loss of momentum following their Europa League exit.
Additionally, a line stating the club “welcomed the input of THST” was reportedly deleted from the final record.
“Transparency is integral to our role,” the THST said in a statement, arguing that fans deserve a full account of discussions to ensure board accountability.
While Spurs declined to comment officially, sources close to the club suggested the minutes were always intended to be a broad summary rather than an exhaustive transcript.
The row comes at a volatile time for the club. Currently 16th in the Premier League and only five points above the drop zone, Spurs recently appointed Igor Tudor as interim head coach following the sacking of Thomas Frank.
Though the published minutes included topics like youth development and profitability, the Trust insists the full weight of supporter anxiety was censored.
