Tiger Woods has revealed that competing in the 2026 Masters is “not off the table,” despite having no official date for his return to professional golf.
Speaking at the Genesis Invitational, the 15-time major champion provided an update on his recovery following disc replacement surgery in October.
Woods, who turned 50 in December, admitted the physical toll of his career is “challenging” but confirmed he has progressed from putting to hitting full shots.
Now able to hit full shots, though he noted his body remains “sore,” as he aims for the Masters at Augusta (April 9-12).
Now that he has reached 50, Woods admitted he is considering the Champions Tour, noting the benefit of being able to use a cart.
“I keep trying, I keep progressing,” Woods said. “I’m trying to get more endurance in this body to play at the highest level again.”
Woods has been sidelined since July 2024, navigating a series of setbacks including a ruptured Achilles and multiple back surgeries.
While a return to the PGA Tour remains the primary goal, the golf legend is clearly weighing his options as he enters this new decade of his career.
