Vipers SC have moved swiftly in the transfer market, unveiling 23-year-old Congolese forward Glodi Beyuku Munsi as their first acquisition of the mid-season window.
The striker completes a switch from DR Congo heavyweights AS Vita Club, penning a two-year deal that will keep him at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende. His contract in Kinshasa had been due to expire on June 30, paving the way for the Venoms to secure his services.
A Potent Forward
Munsi touches down in Uganda with an impressive scoring résumé. He struck 10 league goals last season for Vita, emerging as a dependable finisher for one of Central Africa’s most storied outfits.
He has picked up right where he left off this term, finding the net twice in just two competitive outings, a sharp return that underscores both confidence and consistency in front of goal.

Quick across the turf, intelligent with his runs, and decisive in the box, the Congolese attacker offers a different attacking profile that could elevate Vipers’ cutting edge as the season intensifies.
A Crowded Frontline
Competition for places will be fierce. Munsi joins an attack already boasting experienced figures and proven performers, including Yunus Sentamu, Gusto Mulongo, Mark Yallah, Kenneth Kimera, Isaac Ogwang, and Milton Karisa.

With domestic and continental targets still in sight, Vipers’ technical bench will welcome the added depth, ensuring rotation without compromising firepower.
Built Through Experience
Prior to his breakthrough spell at Vita, Munsi honed his craft with OC Renaissance and AS Dauphins Noir, steadily climbing the ranks in the demanding Congolese top division. Those formative years have shaped him into a more refined striker, blending youthful energy with tactical awareness.

Intent and Ambition
This signing is more than routine squad strengthening, it is a clear signal of intent. Vipers are reinforcing key areas as they approach the decisive stretch of the campaign, determined to remain competitive on all fronts.
With his reputation on the rise and his boots already warm from recent goals, attention will quickly turn to whether Munsi can replicate, or even surpass, his Vita exploits on Ugandan turf.
