Peace Hellen produced the lowest score of the day at the February edition of the MTN Monthly Tee on 21 February 2026, carding a net 62 to emerge overall winner from a field of 124 golfers.
Playing off handicap 21, she separated herself from the rest with a steady round that proved decisive in a tightly contested medal competition.
The guest prize went to Mark Mutungi, who returned a net 72 off handicap 16. In the seniors category for players aged 55 and above, George Afimani secured victory with a net 73 playing off handicap 21.
The ladies competition produced strong scores across both groups. Jovia Tugume won Group A with a net 68 off handicap 16, while Maxi Byenkya finished runner up on net 74.
Group B required countback to separate the top two after Irene Zulu Chabala and Nice Janda both returned net 72. Zulu Chabala, playing off handicap 36, claimed the win, with Janda settling for second place.
In the men’s divisions, Peter Apell topped Group A with a net 70 off handicap 9, ahead of Joseph Galiwango on net 76. Stephen Paul Ojambo won Group B with a net 70 off handicap 15, narrowly edging Michael Monne who carded net 71. Group C honours went to Andrew Bugembe after his net 65 off handicap 24, with Kenneth Kiddu runner up on net 66.
The February edition was supported by CFAO Mobility, WTW, Castle Lite and MTN MoMo.
