The Federation of Uganda Football Associations has rolled out the FAMACO I programme to newly elected provincial administrations across Kitara, Buganda, Eastern and Western regions.
The initiative was delivered through the Stakeholders Committee in conjunction with the Football Development team led by Executive Secretary Ronnie Kalema. It targets fresh administrators who recently assumed office in the four regions.
FUFA said football education remains central to the growth and sustainability of the game and that every new leader deserves a structured induction into how football operates in Uganda.
The FAMACO I programme is designed to strengthen governance, improve the organisation of mass competitions and build administrative capacity at regional level.
The federation added that the programme aligns with its broader commitment to structured leadership and accountability across the football pyramid. It also forms part of efforts to deliver on the manifesto of FUFA President Moses Magogo, with a focus on development at every level of the game.
By equipping provincial administrations with governance and operational knowledge, FUFA aims to create stronger regional structures capable of supporting competitions and talent development nationwide.
