Across the border in Rwanda, experienced forward Allan Kateregga was involved for Police FC Rwanda, featuring for 45 minutes in their 1-1 stalemate with Gicumbi FC on Tuesday.
At APR FC, the Ugandan contingent of Denis Omedi, Hakim Kiwanuka and Ronald Ssekiganda all saw action as the military side secured an impressive 2-0 triumph over Kiyovu Sports.
APR later shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw against Police Rwanda later in the week, with Ssekiganda featuring while Kiwanuka started from the bench.
