Guinness will host its English Premier League matchday experience in Mukono this weekend, headlined by the blockbuster clash between Arsenal and Chelsea as the Chaapa League officially opens its 11th season.
The activation, organised in partnership with NBS Sport, will deliver live big screen coverage of the fixture alongside fan engagement activities and prize giveaways. The experience is designed to bring supporters closer to the English Premier League through premium viewing and shared community interaction.
Speaking at the launch, Guinness Brand Manager Denise Paula Nazzinda reaffirmed the brand’s commitment to deepening fan engagement and supporting football communities through curated matchday events. She said the partnership aims to create memorable experiences for fans while strengthening football culture among Ugandan supporters.
Guinness has also returned as prime sponsor of the Chaapa League, which kicks off on Saturday at NEC Grounds in Bugolobi. The competition brings together former students of Mbarara High School, offering a platform for networking, fitness and sustained camaraderie beyond school life.
Chaapa League Vice Chairman Gideon Muzoora said the tournament continues to grow each season, giving participants an opportunity to remain active while nurturing strong social and professional connections.
Defending champions Yobo Yobo enter the new campaign seeking to retain their title, setting up another competitive season.
Fans attending the Mukono experience will watch Arsenal against Chelsea live on giant screens, with interactive activities and multiple prizes courtesy of Guinness and NBS Sport.
