The 2026 Corporate Games have officially kicked off, bringing together professionals from different organizations for a day of sport, networking, and team building.
This year’s edition has attracted over 50 companies from across the country, with participants competing in various sporting disciplines aimed at promoting fitness, teamwork, and healthy competition within the corporate community.
The annual event continues to provide a platform for companies to step away from the boardroom and interact in a more relaxed environment while strengthening relationships through sport. The outing is also dedicated to women, in recognition of their contribution to the corporate sector and in the spirit of celebrating women through sport and wellness.
Speaking at the opening, Corporate Games chairperson Ian Rumanyika said the organizers are fully prepared for this year’s edition and encouraged more companies to take part in the initiative.
“We are ready for this year’s Corporate Games and we are happy to see many companies already taking part. We call upon more organizations to join us because this platform allows companies to network, exercise, promote their brands, and also support social responsibility within our communities,” Rumanyika said.
He added that the games are not only about competition but also about building stronger corporate relationships and encouraging a healthy lifestyle among professionals.
The Corporate Games will run across several sessions, with teams battling for honors in different disciplines while celebrating the spirit of unity and corporate camaraderie.
