The White Cap Rally Village became one of the standout attractions during the 2026 Safari Rally Kenya, giving fans a lively space to experience the rally away from the stages.
Running for four days from Thursday in Naivasha, the fan zone brought together rally drivers, entertainment and interactive experiences that kept spectators engaged throughout the event.
One of the highlights was the interaction between drivers and fans. Ugandan driver Yasin Nasser was the first competitor to make it to the fan zone, where supporters gathered to greet him and take photos. His early appearance set the tone for the driver meet and greet sessions that followed.
Polish rally driver Daniel Chwist was among the headline guests at the village. Chwist spoke about his strong affection for Kenya, something he even reflects on his rally car, which is decorated with wildlife images inspired by the country’s animals. Fans lined up for autograph sessions and photos, creating one of the busiest moments at the village.
Beyond the driver appearances, the World Rally Championship team also stepped out to interact directly with spectators. Members of the WRC crew moved away from their tents and engaged with fans across the village, handing out rally merchandise including WRC flags, which added to the festive atmosphere.
Music performances kept the crowd entertained throughout the three day programme. Kenyan singer Sanaipei Tande delivered live performances for the fans, while DJ Nijo kept the energy high with DJ sets between rally updates.
The rally village was designed to allow fans to follow the action in a controlled environment away from the competitive stages while still enjoying the thrill of the rally. Large viewing areas ensured supporters could keep track of the progress on the stages while enjoying the entertainment and activities around them.
Its success added a new dimension to the Safari Rally experience, turning the fan zone into a lively hub where motorsport, music and fan interaction came together during one of Africa’s most iconic rally events.
