Chelsea winger Pedro Neto will play in Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain after UEFA gave him a retrospective yellow card for pushing a ball boy in last week’s 5-2 defeat in Paris.
Neto apologised, saying the push came “in the heat of the moment” as he tried to restart play quickly. He later gave the boy his shirt.
UEFA ruled the act unsportsmanlike but stopped short of a ban, leaving Neto available for the second leg at Stamford Bridge.
