Tottenham defender Micky van de Ven has dismissed claims that Spurs players are indifferent to the club’s struggles, calling them “the biggest nonsense.”
Spurs sit 16th in the Premier League, just a point above the relegation zone, and trail Atletico Madrid 5-2 ahead of their Champions League last-16 second leg.
Van de Ven insisted the squad remains fully committed: “Trust me, the staff and players care so much. We just want to turn things around.”
Tottenham will be without Joao Palhinha due to concussion, but Cristian Romero is fit, while Destiny Udogie and Lucas Bergvall return to the bench.
