URA have underlined its push toward commercial growth after hosting a group of marketing professionals during the Uganda Premier League’s ongoing drive to attract corporate partners.
The visit formed part of a wider initiative led by FUFA Super League Limited in partnership with the Uganda Marketers Society, aimed at strengthening ties between top-flight clubs and the business community.
At URA, club CEO Allan Tarsis Munaaba said the engagement offered a timely platform to position football as a viable commercial product.
“URA FC is humbled to receive marketers and brand representatives. This is a great platform to interface as we lure corporates to the beautiful game, unlocking opportunities as we continue to professionalize the game,” Munaaba said.
The interaction allowed marketers to explore branding opportunities around the club, from matchday visibility to long-term partnerships, as the Uganda Premier League looks to expand its commercial footprint.
URA’s involvement reflects a broader shift across the league, where clubs are increasingly embracing structured business approaches to drive revenue and sustainability.
The initiative also builds on recent stadium and club tours that exposed corporate stakeholders to the commercial potential within Ugandan football.
