Lens have refused Paris Saint-Germain’s bid to delay their Ligue 1 clash on April 11, despite PSG seeking extra rest before their Champions League quarterfinal against Liverpool.
PSG, one point clear at the top, argued for more preparation time between the Liverpool ties.
But Lens insisted the domestic league must not be treated as “secondary” to European ambitions, warning against unfair adjustments.
The Ligue de Football Professionnel confirmed PSG’s request, while Strasbourg also asked to move their game ahead of European duty.
PSG had a similar postponement granted earlier this season, but Lens say this time the fixture must stand.
