The FUFA Competitions Department has confirmed that the quarterfinal draw for the Stanbic Uganda Cup will take place on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the Plascon Headquarters starting at 9:00 AM. Plascon, one of the tournament’s key sponsors, will host the event.
A total of eight teams have advanced to the last eight stage, including seven Uganda Premier League sides and one regional league representative. The qualified teams are KCCA FC, Vipers SC, SC Villa, URA FC, NEC FC, Express FC, Kitara FC, and regional outfit Happy Boys Kagaba.
The quarterfinal matches will be played on a single-leg basis, with ties level after normal time decided via penalty shootouts.
Fixtures are scheduled for April 4–5, 2026, setting the stage for an intense battle as clubs vie for a coveted spot in the semifinals of Uganda’s most prestigious domestic cup competition.
The draw is expected to generate excitement among fans, with traditional giants and emerging challengers all in contention.
The inclusion of Happy Boys Kagaba adds a fairytale element to the competition, as the regional side looks to upset the established order.
