Tiger Woods has confirmed he is aiming to play at next month’s Masters after making his first competitive appearance in over a year.
The 50-year-old, sidelined since back surgery last October, returned for Jupiter Links GC in the TGL final but his team lost 9-2 to Los Angeles Golf Club.
Woods showed flashes of form with 300-yard drives, though a missed short putt shifted momentum in the defeat.
“I’ve loved the Masters since I was 19,” Woods said. “I’m going to be there either way.”
The five-time champion will monitor his recovery ahead of Augusta National on 9 April.
