The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) says it will deliver a decision “as swiftly as possible” on Senegal’s appeal against being stripped of the Africa Cup of Nations title.
CAS director general Matthieu Reeb stressed that while no timeline has been set, the process will balance speed with fairness:
“We understand that teams and fans are eager to know the final decision, and we will ensure that arbitration proceedings are conducted as swiftly as possible, while respecting the right of all parties to a fair hearing.”
Senegal are seeking to overturn CAF’s ruling that awarded the final to Morocco.
