Last Chance: FIFA Opens Final Ticket Sales for World Cup 2026

Football fans around the world will have one final chance to secure their place at the FIFA World Cup 2026, as FIFA has announced that the Last-Minute Sales Phase will begin on Wednesday, 1 April at 11:00 ET / 17:00 CET.

This marks the fourth and final ticket sales phase for the historic 48-team tournament, which will be hosted across Canada, Mexico and the United States, and tickets will be available to the general public on a first-come, first-served basis through FIFA.com/tickets until the end of the competition.

During this phase, fans can log on to FIFA.com/tickets to check available matches, choose their preferred seats using a seat map or the “Book the best seat” option, and complete their purchase with immediate confirmation.

Supporters who previously bought tickets will also be able to view their assigned seats in their FIFA accounts starting 1 April.

Even if tickets seem unavailable at first, fans are encouraged to keep checking the platform regularly, as more tickets may be released on a rolling basis, including occasional same-day availability for matches.

In addition, FIFA will reopen its official Resale/Exchange Marketplace on Thursday, 2 April, giving ticket holders who can no longer attend a secure and authorized way to resell their tickets to other fans.

This ensures a safe buying process and protects supporters from unauthorized or invalid ticket sales.

For those seeking a more premium experience, hospitality packages that include match tickets are also available via FIFA.com/hospitality through On Location, the official hospitality provider for the tournament.

Demand for tickets has been extraordinary, with more than 500 million requests submitted during the Random Selection Draw phase alone and over one million tickets sold by the end of February.

With less than 80 days to go, the 2026 tournament is on track to surpass the 3.5 million attendance record set during the 1994 FIFA World Cup, making it the biggest edition of the competition yet.

Fans should note that having a match ticket does not guarantee entry into the host countries, so it is important to check visa and travel requirements for Canada, Mexico and the United States as early as possible.

Ticket holders traveling to the United States may also benefit from the FIFA Priority Appointment Scheduling System (FIFA PASS).

All ticket sales are final, and full terms and conditions are available on FIFA.com/tickets.

As a not-for-profit organization, FIFA reinvests World Cup revenue into the development of football across its 211 Member Associations worldwide, ensuring the continued growth of the game.
