Sera Motebang struck an 82nd‑minute header to give Lesotho a 2-1 win over Seychelles in Bloemfontein, sealing passage to the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Lesotho advanced 2-1 on aggregate after the first leg ended goalless. Seychelles had led through Brandon Labrosse, but Lebohang Lesako equalised early in the second half before Motebang’s decisive finish.
The defeat stretched Seychelles’ winless run against African opposition to 63 matches.
Elsewhere, South Sudan qualified despite a 1-0 home loss to Djibouti, progressing thanks to their 4-0 first‑leg victory.
The six preliminary winners will join 42 nations with byes in the group stage, split into 12 pools for AFCON 2027 in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.
