Manchester City assistant Pep Lijnders has hinted Bernardo Silva will leave the club this summer, saying “every good story comes to an end.”
The 31-year-old midfielder, out of contract at season’s end, has been linked with Barcelona, Juventus and MLS sides.
Silva made his 450th appearance in Saturday’s FA Cup win over Liverpool, adding to 18 trophies since joining from Monaco in 2017.
Guardiola’s captain and most-selected player, Silva’s departure would leave a major gap.
City are considering Nottingham Forest’s Elliot Anderson and promoting academy talent to reshape their midfield.
