Harry Maguire has extended his Manchester United stay with a one-year contract, plus an option for another season.
The 33-year-old defender, signed for £80m in 2019, has made 266 appearances and won both domestic cups.
Once stripped of the captaincy and close to leaving for West Ham, he has revived his career under interim boss Michael Carrick, starting every match since January.
Director of football Jason Wilcox praised his “mentality and resilience,” while Maguire said he was proud to continue his journey at Old Trafford.
