CAF president Patrice Motsepe will visit Morocco on Thursday to meet federation chief Fouzi Lekjaa amid the fallout from the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final.
The trip follows his stop in Senegal, which has challenged CAF’s ruling that awarded Morocco a 3-0 win. The case is now before the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Motsepe’s back-to-back visits are part of CAF’s push to defuse tensions and reinforce its oversight of continental football.
While in Senegal, Motsepe said he would welcome an investigation into corruption claims at CAF stating that the continental body didn’t have anything to hide.
