Wayne Rooney says Manchester City’s experience under Pep Guardiola gives them a psychological edge over Arsenal in the Premier League race.
Arsenal, nine points clear but with two more games played, visit the Etihad on Sunday in what Rooney called a “title decider.”
He warned Arsenal risk slipping into a negative mindset after their defeat to Bournemouth, while City closed the gap with a 3-0 win over Chelsea.
Rooney suggested a draw would suit Arsenal, who may need to “play dirty” and frustrate City.
Tottenham, meanwhile, remain winless in 2026 and dropped into the relegation zone.
Rooney said Roberto de Zerbi’s side looked “flat” and warned that relegation would be “a disaster” for the club. Spurs host Brighton next Saturday.
