BUL FC will be hoping to maintain their lead at the top of the StarTimes Uganda premier league table when they host winless Onduparaka FC at the FUFA technical center in Njeru.
The Eastern Giants sit top of the table with 11 points after three victories and two draws in their opening five games.
For Onduparaka, they are still in search of their first win of the season. The Caterpillars have drawn three and lost one of their four games so far.
Despite the decent start to the season, BUL tactician Alex Isabirye expects a tough encounter.
“We are coming off a draw against Gaddafi FC and we need to react so as to continue on the same road that we have started the season. Isabirye said ahead of the game.
“Onduparaka have not been performing well but they have proved to be a good side over the years and we expect they will put up a good fight.
“However, we know what we are capable of and we will do all we can to win the game.”
Onduparaka assistant head coach Hamza Kalanzi is well aware of the task ahead of them when they take on BUL.
“BUL are the best side in the country at the moment and the table standings paint a clear picture. Kalanzi said.
“We are underdogs in the contest as we have not won a game this season but we will be out for all three points.
BUL are unbeaten in their past six matches against Onduparaka, winning four and drawing the other two.
