StarTimes Uganda Premier League side, URA have announced the signing of youngster Isma Mugulusi.
The Uganda Cranes midfielder joins the Tax Collectors on a two-year contract until the end of the 2025/26 season.
NBS Sport reliably understands that the club’s head coach Alex Isabirye was instrumental in getting this deal over the line.
The 21-year old has been a free agent and the project under Isabirye is prospected to bring his career back on track.
Mugulusi previously played for Busoga United and SC Villa before embarking on a professional career overseas with Makedonikos Neapolis in the Greek second tier division in 2022.
He was later on the move to Lithuania for FK Riteriai but injuries have continued to hinder the development of his career.
In 2021, he was part of the Uganda Hippos U20 team that reached the U20 Africa Cup of Nations under Morley Byekwaso but lost the final to Ghana in Mauritania.
He was once again in the team that played at the U20 AFCON in Egypt in 2023 under Jackson Mayanja and served as the captain.
