Having lost the first pool game by a point (24-23) to another Kenyan side All Saints Embu, SMACK have since reinstated their might in the Boys’ 15s competitions of the FEASSA games with a statement performance against Lenana School.

With absolute dominance from the word go, SMACK made sure the offensive play was one-sided as they pulled a total of 43 points to set themselves apart from Lenana School.

This marks Lenana School’s second loss in the competition having previously suffered defeat to fellow compatriots All Saints’ Embu 45-11 in their second pool game.

SMACK on the other hand marked their second win in a row having previously edged past Namilyango College 13-03 in their second pool game to not only register their first win of the Boy’s 15s but also make a statement as they ripped apart their local archrivals.

With that, SMACK sits second on the log behind Kenyan side All Saints Embu, who are on top having registered three wins in three.

This position also makes them (SMACK) the best performing Ugandan school so far in the Boys’ 15s having joined Kenyan sides Lenana School and All Saints Embu in not only denying Namilyango College any points from pool A but also sending them home from the competitions.

According to the schedule, SMACK was to lock horns in the semi-finals on Friday with Butula School to determine who gets to feature in the Boys’ 15s finals.

However, reports reveal that Butula School has been disqualified from the FEASSA games for fielding two ineligible players. This development is under investigation by the authorities involved for a final verdict.

The reports say that SMACK will get new opponents for their semi final encounter in case Butula school is found guilty of fielding ineligible players

Elsewhere, Makerere College School (Macos) and Kings College Budo (KCB) are positioned third and fourth respectively in pool B.

Macos will play the 5th/6th playoff against Kenyan side Lenana School to mark their respective positions in the FEASSA games Boys’ 15s.
