CAF Confederation Cup group stage football is at stake for Uganda Cranes forwards Muhammad Shaban and Steven Mukwala.
Shaban’s Al Hilal Benghazi are away to Al Masry in Egypt whereas Mukwala’s Simba host Al Ahly Tripoli in Tanzania in the second leg of the second round of the preliminary round on Sunday.
Shaban carried an injury from the international break with the Uganda Cranes.
With an injury, he missed the first leg of Al Hilal against Al Masry in Libya last week.
The Libyan outfit edged the Egyptian side 3-2 in the absence of the former KCCA player.
He has since recovered and travelled with the team to Egypt on Tuesday and is expected to play a part tonight as they chase a group stage slot.
On the other hand, Mukwala was an unused substitute as Simba drew 0-0 with Tripoli in Libya a week ago.
The former URA, Vipers, and Maroons player will be hoping to feature this afternoon at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.
