BUL Football Club are set to face defending champions SC Villa in a crucial Startimes Uganda Premier League match at Muteesa II Stadium today Thursday, September 26th.
Despite a promising start to the season with two draws, BUL are still searching for their first win.
The team will be missing midfielder Ibrahim Orit due to injury, but coach Abbey is confident in his squad’s ability to secure a victory.
“We are going into this match knowing we haven’t won a game this season,” Abbey stated. “We are not doing well in our final third, and this is costing us, but we’ve worked with our strikers to see that we score.”
Defender Najib Fesali echoed Abbey’s sentiments, emphasizing the team’s high morale and determination to secure three points. He also called upon fans to come out in force and support the team.
The head-to-head statistics between BUL and SC Villa are evenly matched, with both teams having won 11 matches each.
However, BUL have a slight advantage in recent encounters, winning two of the last four meetings.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 4:00 PM.
