Ivorian referee Ibrahim Kalilou Traore has been confirmed as the center referee for Uganda’s crucial AFCON qualifier against South Sudan this Friday, 11th October.
The match, set to kick off at 7 PM under the floodlights at Mandela National Stadium, will be officiated by Traore, with his compatriots Adou Hermann Desire N’Goh and Nouho Ouattara serving as first and second assistant referees, respectively.
This isn’t the first time Traore and his team have handled a Uganda match. They were in charge when the Cranes secured a 1-0 win over Tanzania last year in Dar es Salaam.
With four points already in the bag, Uganda will be looking to strengthen their lead in Group K. After Friday’s clash, the Cranes will travel to Juba for the return leg on Tuesday, 15th October.
