Teboho Mokoena stole the show with a brace, while contributions from Bathusi Aubaas, Lyle Foster, and Iqraam Rayners ensured a comfortable victory.
The match, part of the Group K qualifiers for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations, saw Bafana Bafana take control from the outset.
Mokoena opened the scoring in the 12th minute with a powerful header before adding a second with a stunning strike from outside the box.
Just before halftime, Aubaas extended the lead with a well-taken goal, putting the game beyond Congo’s reach. In the second half, Foster and Rayners added further goals to complete the rout.
The victory moves South Africa level on points with Uganda at the top of Group K, setting up an exciting battle for the top spot.
