FUBA Commissioner of Youth and Mini Basketball, Ayebare Patricia, is representing the FIBA Foundation at the World YMCA Mombasa Accelerator Summit 2024. Patricia is also a Youth Leader at the FIBA Foundation.
The summit, which marks the 180th anniversary of the World YMCA started on Monday October 21st and will run until Friday 25th in Mombasa, Kenya.
Patricia is taking part in the “Slam Dunk Ideas: Co-creating World Basketball Day” initiative.
This collaboration between FIBA and the World YMCA seeks to develop innovative concepts to celebrate basketball on a global scale.
“It’s an incredible honor to be part of this movement,” Patricia said. “I’m a firm believer in the power of sports to positively impact communities, especially when we involve our youth. This summit provides a unique platform to share ideas and work together to create a brighter future.”
