Senior Presidential Advisor for Special Operations and Chief of Defence Forces, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, met with William Blick, a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), at the Special Forces Command Headquarters in Entebbe on Tuesday.
The meeting focused on exploring opportunities to harness the power of sports for the development of Ugandan youth.
Blick, a prominent figure in Ugandan sports, expressed his enthusiasm for the potential of sports to contribute to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
“Thank you Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba for exploring the opportunities for our youth through Sports. Sports is an enabler of UN sustainable development goals,” Blick tweeted following the meeting.
