With just days remaining until Uganda’s critical AFCON 2025 qualifying clash against South Africa, ticket sales are reaching record highs, according to the latest data from FUFA.
As of 7:00 AM EAT on November 4, 2024, only 227 of the UGX 20,000 Early Bird tickets remain, highlighting the strong interest among fans to witness the action live at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.
Out of the initial 10,000 Early Bird tickets, 9,773 have already been purchased, leaving a limited window for fans to grab these discounted tickets before they sell out completely.
Once these tickets are gone, only UGX 25,000 and UGX 30,000 tickets will be available in the Ordinary category.
The VIP category, priced at UGX 50,000, also shows brisk sales, with only 3,342 out of 3,729 tickets remaining.
Platinum tickets, offering premium seating and hospitality for UGX 150,000, are down to just 523 from the original 568.
This rapid ticket uptake reflects the excitement around the November 15 fixture, as Uganda Cranes fans rally behind their team in this encounter where a point will be enough to guarantee Uganda’s place at the 2025 AFCON.
Tickets are available through MTN MoMo, with no physical sales on match day.
