Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has named the final squad for the 2022 CHAN.
Wakiso Giants midfielder Ibrahim Owen Kasule headlines the list of players dropped Micho.
Three goalkeepers Mathias Muwanga (Onduparaka), Emmanuel Kalyowa, and Abdul Magada (Gaddafi) alongside midfielder Saidi Kyeyune (URA) are the other players dropped.
The rest of the squad, now comprising of 25, will fly out on Sunday for a training camp in Tunisia.
But there is room for young goalkeeper Jack Komakech alongside his Vipers teammate Najib Yiga.
Uganda, in Group B alongside DR Congo, Senegal and Ivory Coast, will play some friendlies while in Tunisia.
