The City Oilers have been drawn in Group B of the Basketball Africa League (BAL) Elite 16 tournament, setting the stage for a challenging battle in Nairobi.
The tournament, scheduled for November 28 to December 3, will take place at the Kasarani Indoor Arena in Kenya.
City Oilers find themselves in a competitive Group B alongside Urunani from Burundi, Matero Magic from Malawi and Fox Sports Basketball from South Sudan.
Each team will play with the goal of finishing in the top three of the East Division to advance to the BAL regular season.
Meanwhile, hosts Nairobi City Thunder headline Group A, where they will face off against Kriol Stars, Brave Hearts and MBB.
City Oilers have bolstered their squad ahead of the tournament, adding talents like Waleed Wazir, Peter Obleng, and international recruits Israel Otobo, Germaine Roebuck, and Falando Jones.
