Europe: Rogers Mato Scores Again

Uganda Cranes forward Rogers Mato was on the scoresheet for Brera Strumica in North Macedonia for the second consecutive game.

He netted the only goal of the match as Strumica edged Besa Doberdoll last Wednesday and followed it up with another strike on Tuesday.

However, despite Mato’s efforts, Brera Strumica fell to a 3–1 home defeat against Shafiq Kagimu’s Rabotnicki in the Macedonian First Football League.

Match Recap:

Atdhe Mazari opened the scoring for Rabotnicki in the 17th minute.

Besir Demiri doubled their lead in the 44th minute, giving Rabotnicki a 2-0 advantage at halftime.

Aime Marcelin Gado Biala stretched the lead to 3-0 in the 68th minute.

Mato’s 74th-minute strike served as a consolation for the hosts.
Kagimu was introduced for Rabotnicki in the 68th minute, replacing Ermedin Adem.

After the game, Brera Strumica remained 8th on the 12-team table with 19 points from 17 matches.

Meanwhile, Rabotnicki climbed to 4th place, with both teams having played the same number of games.

Upcoming Fixtures:

Brera Strumica will visit bottom-placed Tikves on Sunday, December 8, where Mato, now with three goals, will aim to extend his tally.

Rabotnicki will host 7th-placed Pelister on the same day, with Kagimu hoping for more minutes and a bigger impact.
