After a series of exciting matches, Block G and Block F emerged as the finalists, setting the stage for a captivating championship showdown.

The day began with the third-place playoff between White House and Kafumbe United, with Kafumbe United securing the bronze medal with a resounding 7-3 victory.

The highly anticipated final saw both teams display exceptional skill and determination. However, it was Block G who broke the deadlock in the 75th minute, scoring the only goal of the match and ultimately claiming the coveted championship title and a cash prize of UGX 20 million.

Hajji Hamisi Kigundu, CEO of the Hamz Tournament, expressed his delight, stating, “I am overjoyed because I built this stadium for the people, not for myself. And there are more Hamz tournaments to come, including the Kampala Tournament with a 100 million shilling cash prize and the National Hamz Tournament with a 200 million shilling prize.”

The tournament also recognized outstanding individual performances.

The Most Valuable Player, Top Scorer, Best Goalkeeper, and Best Coach were each awarded UGX 500,000, while the team with the largest fan turnout received UGX 1 million for their unwavering support.

Block F, as runners-up, received UGX 15 million, while Kafumbe United and White House earned UGX 10 million and UGX 5 million, respectively.
