Kobs executed a nice game plan in the second half, helping them profit some bonus points from the Rhinos in the Legends Derby.
Rhinos faced an 8-31 defeat from the real land lords of the legends ground in a game that they seemed to have tired to hold up in the first half.
Thirty minutes into the game, neither side had secured any single points in the game until Koby Lewis managed to break the deadlock in the 32nd with an opening try.
Kobs added a second try in the 40th minute, and a successful conversion took them into halftime.
Coming into the second half of the game, Kobs executed a game plan that enabled them to get three more tries in the second half, while the Rhinos only handled one try and one successful penalty conversion, getting the eight points.
This was the Kobs’ 11th win out of 1; games played this season, and they secured bonus points out of 12; they stay top of the league.
Kobs are now fully focused on the next encounter as they pay the big-side Platinum Credit Heathens a visit on April 1 at Kyadondo rugby ground.
