The CAF C Coaching Course officially commenced at Soroti Secondary School, marking a major milestone in Uganda’s football coaching development.
The opening ceremony was presided over by FUFA Executive Committee Member in charge of Women’s Football, Madam Agnes Mugena, who underscored the significance of coaching education in improving football standards across the country.
Led by renowned instructors Ben Mwesigwa, John Michael Erebu, and other experienced trainers, the programme has attracted 30 participants from different parts of Uganda and beyond.
This diverse turnout highlights the growing interest and commitment to enhancing football coaching expertise.
The two-month course will focus on both theoretical and practical aspects of modern football, ensuring that coaches are well-equipped with the skills necessary to develop talent at all levels.
This initiative aligns with FUFA’s broader objective of strengthening technical expertise among local coaches, ultimately contributing to the overall growth of Ugandan football.
